XFC, the baseball/broken window analogy is faulty. If you wanted to make it closer to this situation, you'd have a neighbor who lived next to a baseball diamond, who built a wall of glass right next to the fence, which each pane of glass costing hundreds of dollars to replace. Even then, it's a stretch to compare the situations.

I don't think you're correct about the "ending question." This isn't primarily about how parents raise their kids.

You seem to be repeating the same points, while ignoring the ones I and others have made in response. Thanks for sharing your opinions. I'm content not to agree about this.
