The last President to not get a second term was H.W. Bush. Why? "By 1992, interest and inflation rates were the lowest in years, but by midyear the unemployment rate reached 7.8 percent, the highest since 1984."

Obama has not even put a sizable dent in unemployment whatsover. That is very significant for voters. Not only that but the rate of unemployment is a lot higher than 7.8 percent.
