Damn man, if you put a big black label over the name, ignore market cap and looked at P/E and growth prospects yada yada yada, you'd conclude that you were looking at a
heh heh, I don't think it is the market cap that scare everyone. It is the market share that scare the big money guy (small investor like us don't move Apple stock needle. So what we believe don't count much 8-((). If it is a very small company in a big market, the sky is the limit on growth. But if you have 60+% of market share in tablet market and 23% of smartphone WW market in 4Q (can hardly wait to see 1Q number come out. My guess is that Apple is closing in 30% of the 1Q12 smartphone market share already.), market share and underlying market growth count for a lot to determine the unit sales growth. Apple only play in a portion of the smartphone market (I use 30-35% for high end market but everyone can put in their own favorite number), so it is a debate on weather they have hit the ceiling or not (me think not.. Iphone 5 will be the one that hit the ceiling with very fast rollout and then hit a brick wall sometime in mid 13.. famously last word..)and weather the underlying market will slow down (smartphone yoy growth in 10 was 75% roughly and 11 was 50%, Cook said that 1Q it was growing at 42%..By YE 2012, the Yoy growth rate will be 25-30%(??)). If Ipad grows fast enough, they can take over the earning slack by Iphone in 13. If Apple TV is a blockbuster deal, they can contribute in 13/14 and still growing there. But there is a lot of if in that scenario that need some answer.
