It is a fair guess that Daniel does not have kids, is wifeless, and unencumbered w/ mistresses and sex buddettes. If so, cashless has its minuses and plusese and minuses.

Good move for him to not try living "free" in India, but to move back to the USA where people chuck out megatons of stuff which is perfectly good. < He traveled to India, and became fascinated by Hindu Sadhus, who wandered without lucre and possessions. I was stuck in a motel room waiting for a flight with a sick wife and daughter, so I just watched life all day outside the window, which centred on the rubbish bin. People would come along and chuck their rubbish in it. Women and animals would come along to see what was recently available and most of the stuff which was chucked was removed again. A dog tried to get itself up the pecking order by snarling at a woman with a bag, but it got a metal can in its face and decided it belonged a bit further down than the woman after all. It would be very easy to live free in wealthy countries. Mqurice
