Regarding everything from language to marriage we must remember the human species is in a very rapid state of evolution. The kids are developing necessary shorthand with their tweeting and indeed our new way of communicating.

The kids, by and large, are now living in an existential world and that has allowed them to manifest who they really are.

As far as marriage goes, no one looks at it correctly which is in relation to "the human animal". How do males and females relate to each other on the instinctual level? It is interesting how many people choose to live independently now that that is possible. Especially women.

We are after all, a simple animal, with all the animal instincts and all that involves. We don't even know what kind of animal we are as the church has never allowed us to study "man the animal" a product of simian evolution.

Very soon we will start supplementing our brains with both chemicals and direct computers which will change and greatly enhance our aiblity to understand things. I am sure that increased intelligence will greatly change our culture once again.

Most of what our culture reflects is pretty primitive and unsophisticaed thinking. The educated kids are manifesting a much more sophisticated culture already.

Completely disagree based on my own experience. If you've got studies, trot them out.

Otherwise, we are just comparing our own incidents. I can cite more than a few incidents of high school classmates who were bullies who later became model folk; and vice versa (if I get to include college students as well).

I went to my 41st high school reunion. First time I had been back. I picked right up talking to the people I knew. We had changed physically, but basically they were the same people. I agree that most of us are set by the end of HS if not sooner.
