I have gotten to know farmers in my area. I buy direct from them, and from boutique food outlets. I assume there will always be a push back to this sort of thing. And if you have enough money, you will be able to eat the way you want to. The poor probably won't have much choice- but when do they ever have much choice.

Somehow, I don't think the cost of producing a vaguely beef-like substance under tissue culture conditions is going to come close to matching the cost of feedlot-produced beef any time soon.
