Re: CRM Reports Large Increase in Unbilled Deferred Revenue

Rules are stretched to accomadate this ONE company
What rules? It's non-GAAP and does not show on their balance sheet or income statement. Are there rules that cover earnings releases?

BTW, I have seen other companies discuss unbilled deferred. I'm pretty sure I've even seen it on a balance sheet, though the situation was different than CRM's. I think CRM is mis-using the term.

Re: CRM Reports Large Increase in Unbilled Deferred Revenue

Well, I'm short the stock, so yeah I basically think it's just a gimmick for them to inflate the stock price and get rich on their options. But companies use creative ways to do this all the time. I think it was Level 3 that loved using OIBDA, and then I think they eventually even used "adjusted OIBDA" when OIBDA wasn't good enough. LOL
