Todd, the Clik! product was introduced a while ago, what makes you think that Sony, if not Intel or any other competitor are not busy making their own standard? At a cheaper price also.

I think too many people are taking competition very lightly and think that the war is over. Nonesens. Who would've of thought of Syquest coming out with SparQ? Does anyone not think that this product will generate any sales? Sales that would surely have gone to IOM.

Don't get me wrong, IOM has achieved many milesotnes, but look at how hard they had to work to get there. The last thing that I'd want to see is IOM's management getting lax and falling from "WERE NUMBER 1" to "WERE NUMB." Sears, IBM, Kmart, and many other companies all had that kind of attitude and they became dinasours on the verge of extinction. If we start to declare that the war is over, IOM could be facing the same fate.

By no means I'm I suggesting that IOM's management is getting lax, however, keep in mind that technology is changeing so rapidly that could make any IOM product obslette overnight. Someone suggested that just becuase were long on IOM does not mean we put blinders on. I couldn't agree more with that statement.
