The fact is, however, that all the major PC manufacturers are backing Zip and HiFD is still not much more real than a press release. When, or really I should say if, I start seeing the large PC manufacturers dropping Zip and committing to HiFD, then I will start worrying about the future of Zip. But even if that happens, I wouldn't count Iomega out completely. They seem to have more than one idea per decade.
