Anything but Assad? That is the question, IMO. If that is what the admin thinks, but are avoiding it for election reasons, that's awful.

But in their case, understandable.

are we going to end up with an expanded Iran nation. iraq, syria, egypt etc. Iran along with russia are in syria to support the Assad.

Russia could care less who runs the nation as long as they can play spoiler and sell arms to them.

What can the united states do other than work with the other arab nations and eu. Putin loves to flex his muscles and i assume is loving every bit of this action.

i doubt obama is ready or willing to entertain military action.
