The Democrats could have always used the filibuster to cut the spending... but they didn't. I wonder why.

I prefer balanced budgets. Only one political party tries to achieve that goal. I wonder why.

You blame ronnie for something. You must really miss the good old days of printing money and 20% interest rates and 12% inflation. Known as the Carter era.

He was charming and he had some really great moments. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!"

I confess, I really liked Reagan. But he was the beginning of the idea in this country that "deficits don't matter". This country has been fiscally irresponsible ever since Reagan took over.
