SOMEWHAT OFF TOPIC Is there a particular time in December when tax selling typically occurrs? I haven't gotten into the shorting thing yet. I don't know how to do it. There is a place on the broker list to sell stock I don't have. Is it as easy as buying stock? When I sell stock I don't have how long do I have before I have to buy some to make good? I think I might be better at picking stocks that are going to go down. I have been rather successful at that so far! I think one only needs to listen to CNN or Wall Street Week and find the stocks that are being discussed. Wait a day or two for the pop and then watch her go down.
