G7 meeting Tuesday -- on emergency basis. Guesses? I'd say nothing will happen. Things are too complex to deal with at a solitary emergency meeting. Best guess: a commitment to somehow deal with a bank run in Spain. No announcement, also. Pater is my tell. He relates that the horrific Spanish capital flight figures are dated, having become public (as opposed to known) in March, three months ago. In three months, the pain in Spain has gotten much worse. Surely, capital flight didn't get better in the interim. Someone knows the figures, they can't be good.
