Germany prepared to accept a grand bargain. Provides greater support but wants more centralized control over government spending in Europe.

Germany's goal is to let their neighbors face death and support if they relinquish control.

Germans are individualists. They are not people to live within a community that:
First, do not comprise only of peoples like them

Second, they agree to a community of interests but they must have control over.

This type of people are not the people for you to associate on a community of interest. It is their nature.

Three terms that were common when I worked with Germans and Austrians at Siemens.

"Au lauf." Let the guy continue doing what he's doing wrong until he hits his face on the wall.

Let them do what they want. As a person who does not want people to do a mistake that can be avoided I was always raising the issue of watch out! They are going to get screwed.

My German bosses and colleagues would say: Let them do what they want.

I am not here to foster change. As a person who always want to do something better than it is being done. I was always telling, how about if we do this or do that?
My German bosses would say: We are not here to change things.

As you see Germans are kleinkariert people. As such they should be told how to behave by outsiders.

I am a mountain hiker. Love to do it. Bavaria is a wonderful place for bergwander and we would go on a Sunday or Saturday even if under a hangover. Hiking was when I used to discuss these issues with my German friends.

One day, I kept thinking, this behavior will come to haunt those guys down. That day is today.

Folks are disgusted with politics!
No question about it.
Folks realize that one's perception is easily tainted by our media to offset rational interpretation to facts.
We live in a media matrix where truths are no longer self evident and where inceptional propagada reside.
Our Electorate is Politically Challenged.
