the only conclusion is what science nearly assumes to be the truth , that early proto complex polymers & chemicals did in fact generate in the early earth & led to many more combinations thru simultaneous trials that leads up to the early proto cells That is a faith-based 'just so' story with nothing behind it but, as he said, assumption. Skepticism of this fairy tale is very rational. If inorganic chemicals could self-assemble and encode retrievable and usable information, we'd be seeing it happening today on earth all over. It wouldn't have happened just once back when the earth was formed and stable enough to support life.

"Probability of Abiogenesis Calculations" , the first combinations of early organic molecules & early stages of Life talkorigins.org Which of the processes below seem to be the more probable in a staged universe of stepped cause & effect , the one with the big "hole" in the procedings or the other with natural understandable logical & reasonable steps? One has to be silly to think that we could imagine everything just "popping" from clay & water into cellular life !!
