I wonder if you could buy an refurbed iPhone to activate with Cricket. I see no reason why they would care if you walked in with your own CDMA iPhone. Those will become more plentiful this fall when people start trading them in for the iPhone 5.

Hell, I'd like to change my existing Sprint plan to Cricket and get rid of the ridiculous fees. People are getting ripped off for their phone charges, especially most people are using text over voice more often these days. It kills me when cell phone companies throw in free texting - they are doing the carriers a favor.

I was stunned when ATT's CEO apologized for offering unlimited data for free when the iPhone. He thought it was a big mistake to give customers that much data. What a joke! Someday, the carriers will have to eat the $30 surcharge for 3G data. The CEO's of the US are back to being arrogant a-holes. We need an influx of new competition from the pre paid carriers to avoid the price fixing by the big carriers.
