Sometimes we're somebody's angel - arrive out of nowhere, help out, then vanish. It's a rewarding feeling. Would that people were more often that, and much less often somebody's satan. It'd be a better world.

My gal posted about it on FB. Tons of responses. A moment ago we looked at each other and both of us seemingly thought the same exact thing: being professional reportage photographers, neither of us even thought for a nanosecond about making photos. Before, during, not until now.

Pretty much answers the age old question for the two of us: What would you do if the president got shot? Make photos or help?

Surprised both of us that we didn't think of making even a single snap before driving off. Not a portrait of the seemingly unhurt survivors, not a scene of the accident establisher, nothing.

Neither did anyone else. Not a single iPhone snap was made, to my recollection, anyway.

Weird. Very unlike us, my gal and I would have thought, until now.

Perhaps it was because neither of us was on assignment. Had we been, we would have sprayed that scene with our cameras @ 10 frames/sec, like there is no tomorrow!

How do you know you didn't piss off the guy whose truck flipped over?
Did he or the son thank you?

Maybe he rigged the airbags.
