Wrote WLT Jul/Aug/Sep 40 puts for the reasons mentioned earlier.

If WLT breaks below $42.50 in the next week, I'll close these positions and try again later.

Why WLT over say BTU and CNX. The latter are more diversified, BTU internationally, and CNX with nat gas. BTU is back toward 2008 lows although the spike gave $16 (chart shows 20ish showing ST nature of 2 penetrations into 16s). WLT still close to 2x 2008 lows.

Disclosures: short puts and calls in ANR (call selling has reduced losses by 60% but sill yuck), Short puts in WLT, looking to re-enter CNX and BTU - made miney in CNX but BTU spanked me hard.

Disclosures 2: doug Kass is long WLT (has it as buy below 48) and BTU (buy below 24). He was actively adding OIH today in related sectors.
