NDB FACTS FROM MY CONVERSATIONS WITH THEM TODAY.

NDB IS A DAYTRADERS DREAM!!!! If you buy/sell the same security several times in one day you only pay commission for one buy and one sell. Example, if you buy 500 share of MSFT at the open, then buy 5 more blocks through out the day, then you sell some blocks of MSFT, you will only be charged 2 flat rate commissions.

NDB's flat rate covers any number of shares of OTC:BB stock and up to 5000 shares of stock on the larger exchanges.

Limit orders are $5.00 additional.

NDB can use decimals but you must put them in as something that resembles a fractional equivalent. For example if you want to sell something at around 5/8 you could put in 0.625 but not to sell it at 0.60 (I am working on a fraction to decimal table for stock purposes, actually, I just have to tidy up the hand written one I have, and I will post it once I get a chance to get it done; I have found with a conversion table handy, fractions are really not all that hard to use, ala Farsight)

NDB offers free checking and a Visa/Mastercard debit card but I forgot to ask if there were any fees on the card.

Accounts can be opened without any money in them for people who want to activate the account and then do a DTC transfer as already discussed on the thread. To actually begin trading on the account, there must initially be $2000 in cash or securities prior to the first trade.

He told me executions on NDB are very fast and pointed out there were some posts on SI to that effect. I haven't really seen them but I do think there is an SI thread devoted to NDB we may want to chek out.

exchange2000.com

Is the thread and it was actually started by a NDB employee.

Make sure if you call or email to get ahold of or make your mail attention to John Cullen. Make sure as well to tell him you are part of the Silicon Investor group looking to move to NDB. His number again is 800-888-3999 (hit the option for customer service) and ask for his extension (5243) He was very friendly and helpful. Please ask him anything else you are concerned about and post anything that may be helpful for the group on the thread here. Don't forget to plant a bug in his ear about what kind of deal you would like to see us get.
