Paul, I chose TSEMF over the "parent" (not the actual relationship) because I believe that Tower fell far too much recently, from $18 to $10 (I bought a bunch < $10!), due to the intemperate remarks of their president. Last quarter was fantastic and he meant, I believe, to point out that Q to Q sequential growth would not necessarily be 72% or whatever, due to factors like the 5% loss of work time due to the Jewish holidays in this quarter. His remarks were mis- interperted as Tower doing very badly and the stock sold off 40% or so if I remember correctly. I think we'll get a bounce back and I also think that Tower is doing well, adding technology, being supported by the government there, etc.

Israel's industry in this area is very, very strong. The best testing equipment for the PCB industry comes from Israel, for instance, and business gets government support much like it gets in Singapore. Israeli CEOs sometimes don't speak English well. Thjey speak English of course but their meanings are sometimes skewed and what they say is easy to misread.

Answer your question? All this, IMHO as we say on-line, OK?!
