Mark, It looks as though history will repeat its self!! Every time Conseco has an offering, Steve Hilbert goes on a road show to tells everybody,and anybody that will listen, what a great company Conseco is. They always keep their debt BBB rated, and as Hilbert tells every body what a great deal it is to buy Conseco Perfered issues, the smart ones listen and buy the common stock. I think that is why we have seen some upside this week. I still belive that Solomon Smith Barney will start coverage before the end of the year (I think with 10,000+ brokers its worth 2 points)It looks as though we will finish the year @ 50+. John
