Right. Illegal guns aimed at the bad guys. Why not talk about that, Kenneth?

Where is your bleeding heart for the 100,000 people who die each year from gun violence?

Wrong as usual kenny. According the the FBI, there were 14,748 murders in the United States in 2010. Not all of those involved guns. Are we responsible for murders in Russia also? Are you including those killed in combat?

Psst, hey Kenneth, you weren't supposed to use that talking point once the Fast & Furious scheme was discovered. That was going to be the meme, but it had to be ditched once the DOJ started taking some heat. The new position on this topic is "fish? I don't smell rotten fish? what are you talking about?"

If you start connecting gun violence and restricting 2nd amendment rights to F&F, it negates the little story that the big dogs came up to justify F&F.

Check the memo man. But don't worry, I've got your back....peace out, Bro!!!!

I'm not a liberal so I don't have a bleeding heart. I'm a realist and always look for the base reasons for why things are the way they are.

It looks like you got that 100,000 figure from the United Nations wherein three quarters of those deaths occur in three countries - South Africa, Colombia and Thailand. For perspective, which liberals always purposely leave out and which the U.N. doesn't like, there is no breakdown of those numbers showing how many deaths were due to drugs and politics. I can have no influence nor control what happens outside the U.S., so let's be a little more realistic and look at U.S. figures.

The latest figures for firearms murders in the U.S., in 2010, are 8,775. Total murders were 12,996 so firearms accounted for 67% of murders. Looking at this in context, which I know you don't want to do Kenneth, even if we include murders from all weapons used, homicide ranks 15th of all causes of death (2008) with 17,837 (firearms murders are half of this figure). And, for a little more perspective (you must hate me), compare those figures with motor vehicle traffic deaths of 34,485 for 2008 and unintentional fall deaths of 24,792 for 2008.

So, why doesn't my heart bleed for gun deaths? Because these deaths are an unfortunate consequence of many factors, the most important of which is the debasing of society in morals, education and behavior. The base reason for that is liberal policies that have corrupted government, education and media. These three bastions of liberal influence have done their best to remove personal responsibility, accountability and civic knowledge from this country. These deaths mostly lie at the doorstep of liberals. Liberals have failed this country, knowingly and cynically, and to assist their rush to power they would have all Americans disarmed while asking where my bleeding heart is. I get it and you can't because you're a blind foot-soldier for the left. It's also why you don't get the Second Amendment or Obama and Holder's failed use of the Fast and Furious gunrunning scheme to gin up attacks on gun ownership in the U.S.

One of the stupidest things I've ever heard a man say came from a New Haven lawyer who said, "There's no reason for a person to own a gun." This is an urban-centric notion from a man who thinks the whole world is like his own and the cops are right down the street to protect him. It is this total lack of perspective which condescends to those who know their natural right to self-protection no matter what environment they find themselves in. Whether you're a rural farmer or a New Haven apartment dweller, violence can be visited on you out of the blue and with no one to help, official or otherwise. Being armed and trained with a gun is a responsibility and a duty to yourself and your family.
