Sarah Palin was not a negative to John McCain's campaign. Folks don't have good memories. Listening to Rush's show even a few years after 2008, many callers would point out the only reason they voted FOR McCain was because of Palin. McCain lost because of Republican fatigue, endless unwarranted media attacks on GWB and an outright horrible GOP Presidential candidate in John McCain.
