You need to read up some more such as the carbon cycle. We are talking about sustaining the next generation of humans not plants. If you keep pumping more CO2 in the air while at the same time cutting down forests, then we have a environmental calamity. I am not saying that your are moron. I am instead maintaining that you do not give much thought from your end to verify and challenge what you read. If you did then you would surely wonder why it is OK for a Govt. like the State of MA to force its citizens to but health insurance when the SC in all likelihood would rule that it is not OK for the Govt. to force its citizens to buy it. The issue is Govt and its citizens. It is not about the citizens of MA being different than the citizens of the US since MA is part of the US. You can argue all mundane stuff like Federal vs. State etc. But when we see such mundane stuff in our laws, they need to be changed.
