Well that was my question. I was under the impression that Microsoft's languages like visual basic make it relatively easy to create custom apps but the other side of the sword is that they are vulnerable to security problems.

I'm not conversant enough to know for sure hence my question about the Android situation.

My guess is that there is the same trade off and Apple errs on the side of security. Android is easier but less secure.

In the past easier has won the game, basically I think because lazy software engineers were able to convince ignorant management folks that everything Microsoft is good.

My opinions about this have nothing to do with the business Win-Lose-Draw is working in. Just curious.
