Frank that's a good point.. Ashton does not appear to be shifting their work to other sites right now. Tho I'm sure exploration is underway and other targets are avaialble right now. I guess once we start hearing them reporting more on another location, we might assume that the glitter of K14 and surrounds is dulling, but right now, it does apper as tho they are concentrating their money or reserves on the K14 site....till then... Hmmmmm. - denis

Frank,

While the odds may suggest otherwise, I believe it prudent for ACA to balance their activities in Alberta. That meaning they should continue to explore any promising pipe while looking for others. When more attractive anomalies are found, they may then elect to drop work on selected targets. In such a manner they may be able to proceed with development on multiple targets. As with Diamet, we may need more than one source of stones to justify the cost of a processing plant. Besides, looking a few years down the road, wouldn't you rather cash flow from several pipes all at once than waiting ten years to get there?

Also, let's not forget, we may have one phase yielding from a few to several carats per ton. We must find out how large it is. Assuming comparable or nearly comparable tonnage, that one phase could be worth more than any other single pipe so far discovered in the NWT.

As to valuations, I don't think the worth of the few stones collected to date could be projected over the whole of K14+. ACA may be able to calculate the overall grade (per phase) from proprietary lab work, but I don't think they can use that technique to project valuations in anything other than a very general way. Certainly any public information on that subject would have to await independent analysis.
