Mr. Sowell is exactly right. Today's healthcare costs which we pay as individuals would remain just as high if we try paying them collectively, through taxes.

Wow. Great quote. If we think that the cost of healthcare is high now, how can it be any lower once we add a new gigantic government bureauracy into the mix? This is all about control. Whoever controls one's health, controls one's life.
