Maurice, we all know you are lurking around here. Happy Birthday, a nice lamb feast I suppose.

Recession has already started for some Asia countries. Wonder how Jiang determined that China is still growing strong. He probably paid Clinton for a private lesson on BS. Just say what they the people want to hear, take credit for anything in sight and make sure you appoint an attorney general like Reno.

I can now fly to HK, with 5 nights lodging and some breakfasts throw in, for less than $500. From HK, I can fly to Thailand, with 5 nights lodging, for less than $200. One can argue that they have grown too fast and should they a breather. More important, we (US) can benefit from their miseries via cheaper goods, lowering our inflation, etc. Time will tell.

The next big time bomb is EU. I have heard strong arguments that it can be disastrous. That is coming up next yr and should capture the world's attention, just when Asia escape the limelight.

I got myself a real time quote/ticker service and am having lots of fun while I go blind.

Ramsey

Maurince - good to see you are still keeping tabs on the Q-thread. And happy Thanksgiving to you, even though you don't celebrate the holiday in your primitive sheep-worshiping culture. It's a great day. We kill hugh quantities of turkeys and then cook their dead bodies for all to consume mass quantities.

And it is also good to see you are using your superior investigative/research capabilities on NHL. Good Luck to you!

If you are looking for a biotech you might want to check out BTGC. It is already making a profit and has some great drugs in the final stages of approval. It is interesting that many biotechs, with little more than promises, trade at lots higher prices than BTGC, which is already making $$$$.

I noticed the same thing with QCOM. Back when it traded on promises it would spike up on this or that news item. But when it turned profitable a whole new set of parameters were suddenly used to value it's stock, parameters that were lots more demanding.

In any event it's good to hear from you again.

PS I like you version of the asia crisis. Yeah...I think it's a good time to pick up some emerging companies. I bought Telebras recently at $84. So far it's been a very good pick.
