Extremely interesting Gus. Thanks.
Stuart of the Motley Fool AOL board asked me to post this here for him. ( CMON STUART. REGISTER! )

<<I am still lurking....found intertesting information for AXC and shareholders to ponder >>>>>>

Voted one of the best NEW products at this years comdex is a new type of digital tape drive. INDIGITA's iDT250 tape drive allows TV viewers to record and replay their programs off a satellite reciever or other digital feed, without losing the superior movie and sound quality. VCR's record at 250 lines per inch of resolution. This tape can capture at TWICE that. The new images can be appreciated on the NEW digital TV's to be released soon.
The device can also be used as a HIGH SPEED BACKUP for PC's. The new product should sell for about $650

Doesn't this sound like it * SHOULD BE * an AXC newsrelease ?!?!?!?!??!?!?
SOMEONE PLEASE POST TO SI BOARD....incase AXC reviews posts.... maybe their NEW investigations of consumer products containing their patents can disect this one !!
>>>>> I am Still no longer long or short on AXC but lurking :)) >>

Now that was Stuart speaking. Me, I'm still a disgruntled but oh so patient long. Whether that patience will actually prove a virtue in this case remains to be seen. Expect to hold at least another year or two.

Good Afternoon Everyone,

We hope all of you managed well with your Christmas Shopping on Black Friday. Ampex stock makes such a lasting gift.

As we were reviewing the 1996 Annual Report for Ampex Corporation we thought a nice gift from us to all of you would be to focus your attention to page 4 the third paragraph:

"In assessing the opportunities for Ampex in mass markets, we have come to the belief that several component technologies that we use in our systems might be used in much larger volumes by other manufacturers. For Example, our machines typically sell in quantities of hundreds or perhaps thousands per year. In contrast, if only one possible application of our technology for components, keepered media, were to become successful in the disk drive platter industry, we would be addressing a market that is projected to have a volume of some 400 million units in 1997 alone."

Mr. Ed Bramson, is telling us Keepered Media is working for Ampex and KM is only one technology of Ampex. What else does Ed (we) own?

We do not remember seeing any post or article stating that keeper media works, yet, Ampex is using keepered media (Ed put it in writing).

Now ask yourself,

Would cousin "Eddie" like a wool scarf with matching gloves and socks or 50 shares of Ampex? They both will last more that a decade, however, which gift is most valuable?.

Get your shopping done early, your presents wrapped and a Merry Christmas everyone.
