John: Thinking about short interest and potential stock price influence. Is there a specific reason people talking about the short interest and the power of a short squeeze based on the short interest do not give any thought to the possibility that shorts maintain their short positions and buy long (in a different account) rather than cover. This allows them to buy on weakness and sell on strength over and over again, without disturbing their short positions. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving.
Bob V. - formerly long and getting very interested again, sold my last 1,000 at 30 when the strength of the move evaporated.
