If the bears have been wrong for 3 years, given the bull/bear cycles, don't you think the probability would now favor the bears for a while?

Personally I think we are probably entering a recession. And I think the Fed has wasted most of its firepower on the last recession. QE3, if it comes, will not have the same effect as QE1. We can't just continue to create money and debt with no consequence. For the past 3 years the govn't has dumped trillions of $$$ into the economy. Of course the stock market would get a boost out of it. But I don't think we will be able to keep dumping trillions of $$$ for the NEXT 3 years. So something has to give. It will be the economy and the stock market. I added to my Dec 2013 SPY PUTS today. If I'm wrong...oh well.
