TERA has been Cymerized. I wonder if the analyst is Brett Hodess?

yes robert, spoke with Teradyne VP and was clearly told that no order pushouts occurred and that asia represented a very small portion of Teradyne's business. the VP stated that he told the analyst that no order pushouts have occurred todate and that in fact business at teradyne has never been better. he stated that it was possible given the situation in Korea that firms there may adjust orders, but to date this had not occurred - the opposite occurred, korean companies had been increasing orders due to demand. too many lying analysts in this market

I was shacking my head when I heard that story.

They can go around and play their games without being held accountable for their actions. It reminds me of Dan Derdorf(sp?) when he used to come on CNBC and hype or slam stocks. There was an SEC investigation regarding being paid by certain brokers so Dan retired.

TER denies the report and says that there could be push-outs but in will probably be in the 6% range if any. With such a strong BTB and backlog, it's madness. The mentality is get out first regardless, then buy back.
