Point:

The public wanted us out of Iraq, and to focus on al Qaida. Romney can never win with an anti-war theme.

I don't disagree with you, but think a key point is being overlooked.

How is Obama doing with his war in Afghanistan and the broader war against AQ?

My answer would be - the war against AQ in Afghan sucks. What does our new decision to make Afghanistan a key ally do for us? By us I mean every American citizen.
Meanwhile AQ continues to gain strength and initiate warfare elsewhere.

You missed the point....on purpose, from the looks of what you wrote downstream.....The Point Was:

Seventy percent of the Afghan War casualties have happened on Obama's watch.

One would think that that might bring up a question......>WHY in just 3.5 years is the death toll so much higher than under GWB.....

Americans might not like the war in Afghanistan, but Obama has expanded it. It is for certain that MOST Americans don't want our Military killed there, while the politicians dither and decide for the Generals there what to do....

Romney was NOT the topic of conversation....Obama is the current President....NOT Romney.

The first 2 paragraphs are:

CNSNews.com) - Of the 1,912 U.S. military personnel who have died in the now nearly 11-year-long war in Afghanistan, 1,343 have died since President Barack Obama was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009.

Seventy percent of the Afghan War casualties have happened on Obama's watch.

Point: [YOUR point]....

The public wanted us out of Iraq, and to focus on al Qaida. Romney can never win with an anti-war theme
