A welfare state is needed for a healthy democratic society to exist.


We had a healthy democracy for about 150 years with virtually no welfare state. In the last 80 years, the welfare state and the govt to support has been systematically destroying the country. If not turned back, the country won't survive to it's 300th aniversary.
