OK do you want to use this mostly at home or mostly when you are out? OUT - 7" or iPhone IN - 7" or iPad I think it depends on circumstances. I own an iPhone and routinely take the iPad with me out of the house, and much of the time, a 7" tablet would serve me better. In the house, the 10" tablet wins almost all of the time. The exception would be when reading. I like the size of my Kindle much better than my iPad. OK when you are in does $300 matter to you over 2 years of amortization? That's less than 50¢ a day, and even less if you keep it 3 years or more. I really dont think that most people look at their buying decision like this. If they did, Macs market share would be far higher than 10%. Slacker
