On the face of it - what you are saying about BX makes sense. But to buy it or not is another issue.

On LAZ - I will revert to my earlier point - being part of the deal and being the lead on the deal are two very different issues. If you know that they have been the lead on the big deals, i guess i have nothing more to add.

And yes i am glad you are playing devil's advocate:) it keeps me on my toes! Thank you for reading the posts. One thing Obamacare might do is to induce growth in preventive care. I believe it will hurt insurance companies. If you are looking into healthcare then i would suggest you bet on healthcare technology firms. they will come out as big winners, no matter what happens.

BX is buying distressed residential real estate not only in the U.S. but internationally. I like their interest in Australia.
