Not in this case - Zimmerman claims he was attacked out of the blue - could you imagine if he just walked up to every stranger in the neighborhood gun drawn asking why they're there. We'd lose our gun rights so fast it'd make your head spin.

Now if you see something wrong happening (break in, assault, etc) and you draw a gun then I would agree the law is wrong.

Because it is written by people who know nothing of what they are trying to regulate. Some time I'd like to write a law that would really pi$$ of the lefties, but of course I care nothing about what they do unless it interferes with my rights and the legal rights of others.

The law is sometimes screwed up.
