Last few years? I didn't drift into the SI political netherworld till the Clinton impeachment push, and the nutjobs were out in droves then. Little did I know how far the Clinton haters could surpass previous heights of antipathy when Obama came in. They get really annoyed if you call them Obama haters, though. All very weird.

Actually, Dale started this forum. I had the good fortune to take over from him. It's a nice place- for folks who don't swing right. I find the mixing of right and left clutters a board and offers nothing positive. But for people who wish to mix it up, there are plenty of open boards where you can observe pointless arguments and endless name calling to your heart's delight :-) My heart delights in other things, though.
