Hi Keith,

Yeah SVU caused me a lot of angst especially after watching it bounce back over 5 bucks from where I sold the piece out. In looking at the whole trade, I just couldn't see why the short position kept on increasing at every reporting period and had to figure that someone knew something that I didn't have reflected in my analysis and the underfunded pension liability that cropped up in the last Q bothered me a lot.

Its very tough to dump a position out, but when it starts looking that things aren't lining up the way that you see them, it was time to hit the door and take the loss before it possibly turned into a disaster.

My timing overall hasn't been working as well as I like, look at SOHU another problem child, but taking losses is part of the game from a long term timeframe, just like taking profits.

Just trying to take more profits than losses and looking at the game as a marathon instead of a sprint.

There is always another trade if you can stay in the game.

Good Trading

I took a loss about 3 months back - whew! It also popped the day after I exited.
