The right wing does not seem to understand their is a legitimate role for government e.g. Regan's "government is the problem not the solution." That is bullshit. Government has been the solution all through our history and should be respected, not always denigrated. Government protected us from Hitler and the Japanese. The right wing wants to privatise everything and promote pure capitlism which is bullshit. Pure capitalism cannot build a smart energy grid we need and could nto have built the interstate highway system. Ike built the interstate higheway system and FDR Hoover dam. We need a government to do lots of stuff private business cannot do which requries taxes.
