Lots of bicyclists get hit here in the LA area, especially on Pacific Coast Highway. There are bike lanes but they still drift over into traffic.

There's also a lot of PSAs telling people to watch out for bikes and bikers - both kinds.

The road I take home every night used to get a huge amount of bicycle traffic. The paving of others in the area gave them alternate routes and now I seldom see them. Most of them seemed to play fair. The butheads always stood out though.

Having ridden bicycles on the roads I appreciate it from both ends. I always try to make it easy for cars to pass.
