"So we have you down for 300k Nexus 7s in use. Let's bookmark that." I was clear that I considered the Chitika datapoint a "tea leaf." That and the Digitimes article I posted prior are the only 2 "tea leaves" that exist for Nexus 7 sales, as far as I am aware. In Digitimes, Google was said to have placed an initial order of 600K (which seems to have sold out). Are these datapoints solid? Are they reliable? All I can say is that I consider them better than nothing. A warning-- similar tea leaves led me to believe that AT&T had sold 1 million Lumia 900's in Q2, and we all know how inaccurate that turned out to be. Is it your belief that Nexus 7 sales have been much higher than the 300-600K range? If so, what are you basing it on?
