the Fathers said it was ok to have state of the art weapons at the time. Knowing the citizen would need them to fight a tyrannical government who would have the same weapons they would want us to have state of the art weapons now also for the same reason

es, we have this debate every time some sick bastard buys some guns and shoots innocent people, and I have no doubt that this episode of the the debate will end the same way it always does: The sad thing.........these days we only notice when its a massacre. The 2-3 people shot at one time that happens much more frequently, we ignore completely. We have become inured to the high level of gun violence in this country. And it takes a foreigner to point out that reality to us. Its insane........we have allowed the lesser of us to dictate the rules when it comes to guns.
