And when did the "plummeting" start which you credited Giuliani with? Crime was dropping all over the country then in all major cities......you want to give Giuliani credit for that? Dinkin's first year in office was 1990 which is what I said... In Dinkins first year in office, the murder rate INCREASED 17% to a record 2245. It dropped an insignificant 13.5% from that peak to 1940 in Dinkins 4th (and thankfully last) year. The 1940 number in Dinkins BEST year is still higher than the worst year of any other administration.....before or since. In Rudy's first year, it dropped 17.5%....a larger decrease than in Dinkins ENTIRE 4 years. In Rudy's second year, it dropped a further 28%. In his third, it dropped a further 13.9%. In his fourth, it dropped a further 22.2% ....................take some graph reading lessons...........ass hole
