Craig, you said < At 35 COMS trailing PE is 30.>

It's WRONG, coms trailing PE at $35 is around 18. It made $1.94 in 1997 and made 48 cents in the first qtr of 1998.

Craig, in case you didn't know. Bernard Ebbers (Worldcom's CEO) has a background of highschool basketball coach. You probably are doing a lot better than most investors with RF and electronics background, seriously.

Craig

Hope thanksgiving was good to you. Yes I crunch numbers to evaluate candidates for investment.

If I invest in cyclical companies these analysis carry a lot of weight. The tech side is much more complicated. I used to invest almost exclusivly on "the numbers" but that will not cut it in these companies. Of course I look for low debt, thats critical. If companies are growing well they do not need to borrow money.

About ten years ago I decided to invest in companies and technology that I could intimately understand. My investment results have shown that to work. The last 5 years I'm up over 500%, my dad has done even better than that! He is retired engineer from Boeing and has been trying to get me to invest in Bio-tech, he has made a killing in that. I won't touch it because of the FDA and government regulation. I guess to each his own.

If you find a system that works for you, then you have succeeded! I quit my job in 1983 to do this full time and am having the time of my life.

SI is a great place for all of us to exchange ideas and information. It has helped me tremendously!

Good investing

Eric
