Brezlin, Without getting myself in trouble I can't afford, I'll just tell a short story. Way back when, when TMM had money and things were cooking and we were all buying the high dollar stock, TMM had several products they were working on, both video and still. TMM was involved in a three way consortium which included TMM, MCI and Iterated. We licensed the technology from Iterated and had the world wide right to fractal video on optical storage medium. Peter Olson, an exec of advanced technology for MCI previously, was moved into TMM somehow as the new President of TMM. As you can see, this was a seriously tight group. I could go into this part of the story at length but I don't think I can write a note that long here on SI. Anyway, during this time TMM acquired a company called Danlot for shares and the main people there came to work at TMM for a year or so. I THINK they were supposed to be working primarily on the video product, but I believe there was more work done on the still products. To fast forward through the story, TMM crumbled due to many destructive forces and a whole lot of greed. Quite a few people contributed to this and they are all on the list of people we want to go after when we get the strength to take them on. TMM had been moved to Colorado Springs where, as I understood it, they were closer to MCI. One day the doors closed and the shareholders had no idea what had happened. Olson was gone, the Danlot people disappeared, and we didn't know what had really happened. One day someone came up with an article on the web from a magazine where MCI stated that they were prepared to announce to their customers some sort of new fractal based technology. We threw a fit, accused them of this and that along with shareholders writing and threatening to sue MCI and Iterated. Everything got quiet and TMM sunk further into the pit to near extinction. It looked like the ship was going down I guess and then out comes the discovery of a new company called Altamira. Investigation into their very own website revealed the former Danlot/TMM employees marketing a fractal based product. Time went by and finally MCI put out a release announcing the same product and revealing that it was the result of a three way consortium which included MCI, Iterated and Altamira. SURPRISE!!! You can draw your own conclusions from the time periods when this must have happened and who was working for who. One of the products that TMM had announced was Adobe Plug-IN. Read the Altamira ad Carol posted and see if there is a conflict there. We have a leg to stand on and Tom has vowed to hammer these guys. I am making no allegations, just relating the story as I understand it, and I think I understand it pretty well. The deep pockets are where the money is. We just have to get back on our feet first. Tom also has other reasons very dear to his heart for pursuing this situation, which I won't go into due to the seriousness of it. That's a snapshot of a very long and involved story. I guess it needs to be told from time to time for newcomers. There is so much more but it all leads to the same end, we got screwed! shotgun
