Yes, "the defense of marraige act" is another right wing nutso idea. koan, you always claim to be a big fan of democracy. The majority of states have passed laws banning gay marriage. In those where it is allowed, it has always been the courts that forced it. The majority obviously oppose gay marriage, how can you as a believer in Democracy support this undemocratic position?

DOMA " is another right wing nutso idea" that Big Dog Clinton signed into law. Along with DADT and welfare reform. He also shitcanned the Kyoto treaty and gave up on health care reform. And if you ask a Democrat, he'll tell you Clinton was the ideal President before telling you how disappointed he is with Obama. Heck, Clinton was actually the first black President. Obama is the first gay President. President Obama on the cover of the May 21, 2012, edition of 'Newsweek.'
