Those changes were with highest interest rates in the world. Next it will change based on lower interest rates. Effects expected to take effect in the economy from here on... As you can see -using my street microcosm- just a couple of lots remain (one boarded up another cleaned up and a 3rd one with For Sale sign). This will be the overall cityscape. Across the city. It did not have commercial buildings to accommodate office space for 200 to 600 people. A southwest to Northeast highway crossed the city. They by passed the city north and south. (I leave near the north ring.) And the old highway became a commercial axis. Coordinates on Google Earth: 25 29 00S 49 15 54 W. This axis southwest to Northeast is becoming the commercial corridor. In a few years it will be taking businesses from S. Paulo and Rio that are both clogged.
