Ed,

Volume also seems extremely thin.

Ed,

Thanks for TA forecast, bleak as it may be. Overcast with rain looks very likely. From a technical standpoint, where do you see the bottom?

Roger

P.S. It is still amazing to me that the short interest is rising and people are still selling. The market is gearing up for 98, why bail out now? Is this another one of those ominous signs we frequently miss?

Ed: Without benefit of some sort of major news I see ANCR trending lower for the remainder of the year. I've got a buy order open to be exercised in the mid/high $4 range. Not because there's anything fundamentally wrong with ANCR, just that I expect all the usual year-end tax loss, etc., effects to apply(think of all those speculators that bought in when it was +$10). So I should be able to get some shares on the cheap, cheap in preparation for everyone's guessed/hoped for good news of significance in 1st half of '98.

Here's to Fibre taking off, as everyone's guessing, in '98 and ANCR getting some percentage of that sectors business.

Regards!

John~
