Max,
Bryce Brown will make this team as the 3rd RB; he is way ahead of Polk. The guy has very little wear and tear on him and he will help the team. Kafka had a horrible game and if he continues to play like this in the pre-season he will be gone; Edwards surprised me and looks more ready for a backup role. Nick Foles had an incredible game and has a pocket presence that most rookies don't have. It is only one game, but we may have just seen a glimpse of our future QB. The first team offense looked dismal and I hope they fix it. As usual our defensive line was dominating and our secondary stank. I hope they fix it or our offense will need to score a lot of points.

Mike

Not NBA time yet but anyway, "It’s official. Earlier today the Sixers announced that the team’s acquisition of Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum and guard Jason Richardson of the Orlando Magic – key parts in the four-team mega deal that sent Dwight Howard to the Lakers – was ratified by the league." philly.com

Not a hoops expert but the deal looks good to me in that it frees up a lot of cap room in unloading Iguodala, and Bynum gives the 76ers a true center that they've been lacking and -hopefully- has some upside. Unless I'm missing something the biggest risk is they cannot sign Bynum next year and the free agent market is weak to fill out the payroll.

Haven't posted here in a while, I was on the Phillies bubble last year and let down, not to mention how this season has gone. With Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers seasons coming up... hope springs eternal!
